How we work

True impact begins when diverse minds unite

Collaboration lies at the heart of our work philosophy, as we firmly believe that sustained, impactful outcomes emerge when diverse stakeholders unite their efforts. This conviction is operationalized through eight guiding principles: Integration, Diversity, Quality, Transparency and Accountability, Equity, Integrity, Partnership, and Value for Money. Each principle serves as a foundational pillar ensuring that our collaborative endeavors are not only effective but also ethical and inclusive. By embedding these values into daily practice, we foster an environment conducive to mutual respect and shared responsibility.

Diversity

We believe that everyone is different in their own right and should be respected for who they are in all our interactions. We believe in treating everyone equal regardless of their ethnicity, age, gender, creed, color, tribe and disability among others.

Integration

We identify opportunities in existing systems through which we anchor our interventions to yield the greatest impact. We strive to strengthen and influence strong collaboration of activities with the goal of improving the quality of lives in the communities that we serve. We believe with strong integration of systems and services; we can make the needed impact.

Quality

In our work we ensure to adhere to set national and international guidelines. We understand the needs of our partners and target communities and therefore we strive to exceed their expectations. We set a standard of excellence for our staff to ensure we meet the organization goals.

Transparency and Accountability

We embrace an open culture of providing appropriate information to relevant stakeholders while allowing others to observe how we work, thereby promoting answerability to partners and the communities we serve. We believe that openness enhances the aspect of being accountable for actions taken as transparency is a pre-requisite of accountability.

Equity

We promote opportunities that ensure impartial or just treatment for all according to their circumstances both within and outside the organisation. We work towards promoting fair accessibility to needed services for all irrespective of race, gender, disability, religion, class and tribe, among others.

Integrity

We ensure honest and uncompromising adherence to strong moral and ethical principles and values in all our endeavors. We do not tolerate any corrupt practices or any attitude that may undermine efforts to safeguard rights for children, women and persons with disabilities.

Partnership

We promote mutual beneficial relationships with organizations to achieve sustainable and greater impact in the communities we serve.

Value for money

We promote the principles of the three E’s (Economy, Efficiency and Effectiveness) in programming and service delivery optimizing resources while maximizing results
