About Us
We are a developmental agency for Lions Club International Districts 413 Zambia . We are a Non-governmental Organization (NGO) incorporated under the NGO Act of 2009 and are an approved public benefit organisation under section 41 of the Income Tax Act Chapter 323 of the Laws of Zambia. Its’ principal objective is to work in partnership with the Government in the provision of health and humanitarian services by assisting in providing adequate infrastructure, training scholarships and by sensitizing the communities. This ensures equitable access to quality, affordable health and humanitarian services. It is managed by a Board of nine (9) members appointed by the Lions Clubs International Districts 413 and Management appointed by the Board. Our annual financial reports are approved at the annual general meeting.

- Promote access to equitable health services that include the prevention and treatment of blindness, measles, non communicable disease with a focus on diabetes, and childhood cancer.
- Promote access to equitable education for children and youth to enable them have an opportunity to achieve their dreams.
- Provide disaster relief to most affected communities.
- Promote the empowerment of women, youth, and persons with disabilities to lead more independent and fulfilling lives.
- Strengthen organizational capacity for effective and efficient delivery of its’ mandate and further commit to decision making and financial stewardship that reflects the organization’s values

Since our formation, Lions Aid Zambia has been working towards achieving our Vision, which is to improve quality of life for the communities we serve. We achieve this through supporting interventions that spur access to basic needs which include among others health, education and financial empowerment of women, youth and persons with disabilities. We have to-date achieved amazing success thanks to the extraordinarily partnerships we have cultivated over time and the individual contributions we receive from across the global.
